There aren't enough words to describe Andy.  He was just a special person in so many ways.  It was an honor and a privilege to have been his friend.

Andy was a great boyhood friend through grade school and high school. He was also a fishin' buddy during those years. We had some good times during his stay at Xavier and we exchanged mail during his years in the service of our country. Sue and I will always remember his positive attitude during his battle with MS, as an example to all who deal with the issues of aging. May God hold him in the palm of His hand and give him eternal rest and peace. tom&sue ensch

Enjoyed visiting Andy in NC last fall where we remembered our days at CHS.  May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.  Eternal rest grant to him O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.

I know you are in heaven. Every time I pass Fall Creek and Shadeland, I think of the times we spent there when we were in grade school.  your dad would drop us off on his way into the office on Saturday mornings & we would fish in the 2" high creek, bring our lunch, then he would pick us up about 1:00 on his way home.  Also fond remembrance of the "hotshots" reunion in Gatlinberg a few years ago with you, myself & Jan(now deceased) Ron & Linda, Tom & Sue, JIm & Barb.
To Beth & Dorie, so sorry for your loss.  He had such determination & faith.

Uncle Andy will always be missed.  Men like him do not come around very often and when they do you want to be part of his life and make him proud of you.  There are many fond memories of have of Uncle Andy but when I think of him I think of the positive attitude and positive role model he was, not only for me but the people who were lucky enough to be touched by him.

My thoughts and prayers are with the extended Clayton family.  I have many wonderful memories - my favorite one being of the time he picked me up at my dorm at Ohio State to take me back to his house for a terrific home cooked meal.  We spent the rest of the evening "catching up".  Typical Uncle Andy style - thoughtful, caring and compassionate...

Dear Dorie, Beth, and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. What an amazing man Andy was...and fun to be around.  I will never forget having him at our house for Christmas Eve the year we had everyone there.  Good memories.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

After viewing the photo gallery I was reminded of the things that I always appreciated about Uncle Andy.  He loved the outdoors (camping) and spending time with family. I will never forget the time he loaned my Mom and Dad his motorhome (what was he thinking?)  But that's how he was, he'd give you the shirt off of his back.  Beth and Dorie, sorry I could not be there to celebrate the amazing life that your father had.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

Our family is saddened to hear of Uncle Andy's passing. I have fond memories of Uncle Andy and our nature walks through Hueston Woods. I have always thought of him as a fine example of a family man and of honorable service to our country. Your families are in our prayers.

So sorry to hear about Uncle Andy's passing. Beth and Dorie you have my deepest sympathy. He is now at peace up in heaven.

I am so sorry and feeling sad to hear that Uncle Andy has passed.  I have good memories of him and Aunt Genie,  he was a good man.  Though my heart still hurts,  I am happy that he is with Aunt Genie and Grandma and Grandpa Clayton again.

So sorry  for you and your family. You have a hole in your heart when a daughter loses her father. Now he is with his heavenly father. Take care of yourself. Remember all those special times.
