Mrs. Darnell, 84, of Pineville, NC, went to be with the Lord Friday, December 20, 2013. She was born in Pineville on May 11, 1929.
Betty is survived by her sons Butch and Harvey Darnell, her grandchildren; Johnny Darnell, Jamie Darnell, Jason Darnell, Deanna Lambert, and Tiffany Rousser, and her niece Molly Joe Smith.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 10AM at Pineville City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Susan G. Komen.
