Mrs. Grimes was born in Augusta, GA on May 17, 1930. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Grimes, Sr.
Mrs. Grimes is survived by her son, Frank Grimes (Carolyn) and her daughter Brenda Nance (Rick), 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She loved her Lord, loved her family and loved to grow flowers.
The funeral service will be held 11:00a.m., Tuesday, February 6 at Sunset Road Baptist Church, 2317 Sunset Rd., Charlotte with Rev. Steve Bass officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.
