Left to cherish Boyce's memories are his wife of 50 years, Ruth G. Baucom, sisters; Hazel Scott and Mary Godwin, and brother, Bo Baucom, two daughters; Carol Baucom Pietras and Lynn Baucom, daughter-in-law, Shelia Godwin, three grandchildren; Lee Melton (Amy), Angela Cox (Kenneth), and Teresa Godwin (Jasper Gates), five great-grandchildren; Madison Melton, Scarlett Melton, Tiffannie Jordan (Trent), Joshua Thompson, and Jeremiah Thompson, and great-great-grandchild, Khloe Jordan.
Boyce was preceded in death by three of his children; Vickie Baucom, Roger Godwin, and Terry Godwin.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home. A service will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 2:00pm at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home in the Paul Helton Chapel. A graveside service will be immediately following in the Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
