Brenda Gaye Preslar, 68, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at CMC-Mercy. A daughter of the late Carl Isbell and Bernice Isbell, she was born in Leeds, AL on June 30, 1944. Mrs. Preslar enjoyed traveling, working with ceramics and visiting family and friends.
A funeral to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00PM, Sunday, March 17th at the Derita Chapel of McEwen Funeral Service with the Rev. Ronald Helms officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral hour. Burial will be on Monday at Sunset Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Preslar is survived by her husband of 26 years, Ray Frank Preslar; a daughter, Sheila Seals, of Odenville, AL; a sister, Glenda Abbott and husband T.W., of Leeds, AL; three brothers, Ray Isbell and wife Robbie, of Bakersville, CA, Pete Isbell, of Odenville, AL and Bob Isbell and wife Pat, of Pellcity, AL.
