Carol Hogan

Carol Osborne Hogan, 68, formerly of Charlotte, passed away at her home in Palm Coast, FL with her family at her side. She was born in Conway, SC on July 13, 1944 to the late Corbette and Leilah Fairclothe Osborne. Carol devoted her life to being a partner to her husband Joe and full time mother to her 3 children. She was an exceptional cook and loved to entertain, frequently hosting over 100 guests at the family residence.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Joseph B. Hogan; son, Joseph W. “Chip” Hogan, his wife, Heidi and their children, Haley, Alex and Zachary; daughter, Dina Hogan Mueller and her son, J.J., son; Jacob Ben Hogan, his wife, Heather and their son, Jacob, all of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Linda Jones and husband Larry of Charleston, SC; Mable McManus and husband Richard of Birmingham, AL; Francis Richardson of Gallivants Ferry, SC; Annie-Bell Hardee of Longs, SC and Velda Lane of Fayetteville, NC and brother, Jimmy Osborne and wife Shahnaz of Hope Mills, SC.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday July 25 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at McEwen Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Rd., Charlotte, NC 28210. A funeral service will be held on Thursday July 26 at 11:00 am at Sharon Presbyterian Church, 5201 Sharon Rd., Charlotte, NC 28210. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn East Cemetery, 3400 Forest Lawn Dr., Matthews, NC 28104
