Carroll Daniel Sikes

Carroll was born on April 19, 1952, in Charlotte, North Carolina to parents Willie and Lizzie Sikes. He graduated from West Mecklenburg High School in 1970 and later became a Produce Manager at a local grocery store.

Carroll was a kind and loving person to all who knew him. He had a quick wit and could make anybody laugh. Carroll always went above and beyond to provide help and support to his friends and family. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing cards and guitar. Carroll was a friend to all and built a strong community around him. He was effortlessly cool and a joy to be around. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Doyle Sikes and Gary Sikes; brother in law, Barry Harris; and sister in law, Linda Sikes.

He is survived by his sister, Joyce Harris; brothers, Van (Lynette) Sikes and John Sikes; nephews, Chip Sikes, Tony Sikes, Michael (Leigh Ann) Harris, Phillip (Nickie) Harris, Daniel (Samantha) Sikes, Jerry (Annette) Sikes; nieces, Wanda (Bobby) Cox, Tammy (Brian) Sims, Rhonda (Steven) Tindell, Heather (Corey) Daeur, Wendy Sikes and several other great nieces and nephews; and long time partner, Gail Hill.
