She was married for 67 years to Fulton Greene who passed away in July 2015. She and Fulton lived near Cornelius, NC for many years and were members of the Cornelius First Baptist Church.
Catherine is survived by her children; Larry Fulton Greene (Beverly), Randy Douglas Greene (Lee), Sue Greene Saylor; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Catherine enjoyed reading, going to the senior center, visiting with her children and grandchildren and reading her Bible. She was loved and will be missed by all.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 11 am, with a visitation beginning at 10 am, at McEwen Funeral Home – Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Rd., Charlotte, NC 28210. On-line condolences may be offered at www.mcewenpinevillechapel.com.
