She is preceded in death by her Parents: Lee Taylor & Pauline Taylor Gordon & Brother Michael Taylor. Cheryl was born on October 23, 1954 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Lee & Pauline. She later moved to Charlotte, NC where she attended East Mecklenburg High School & graduated in 1972. She lived in Charlotte for more than 40 years.
While living in Charlotte, she accepted a position in the VIC Department/ Consumer Relations at Harris Teeter Corporate Office in Matthews, NC where she worked and retired from after more than 13 years.
Cheryl was an active Member at Pineville Church of Nazarene. She loved her Church & Loved her Pastors.
Cheryl leaves behind many friends that will miss her greatly. Cheryl will always be remembered as a Loyal & Loving Friend.
And for her Smile that would light up the room. If you were lucky enough to be a part of Cheryl’s life, you knew you had a Friend forever. Although she will certainly be missed, we must find great comfort that she is with her Lord & Savior and Mother again.
