Colleen was born January 19, 1969, in Binghamton, NY to Gail and Larry McLaughlin. She graduated from Charlotte Catholic High School in 1987 and remained an active alumnus. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BS degree in Nursing in 1991 and attained a MS degree in Nursing Management from Queens University in 2019. She has been a dedicated RN, BSN with Atrium Health since 1991 and has proudly held the role of Nurse Manager for Atrium Health Pineville Endoscopy Center since 2016.
Colleen is survived by her parents, Gail and Larry; adoring daughters, Kelsey Gove of Willow Spring, NC and Quinn Gove of Charlotte, NC; brother, Patrick, and wife, Maria, of Morehead City, NC; and brother, Robert, and wife, Holly, of Peachtree City, GA; along with her treasured nephews, Sean and Ethan, and nieces, Payton, Parker, Alexandra, and Emma.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM at McEwen Funeral Service-Pineville Chapel at 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28210.
