Yesterday makes 3 weeks since you've gone. You were the spark in my life and what made the Sun come up in the morning for me. My Soul Mate, best friend, reason for breathing. The time we spent together was cut short but were the absolute best times of my life. For now we apart but I yearn for the day we are together again.

Sweetheart, It's been a little over a week and I still can't believe you are actually gone. I thank God for the 27 years that Mom and I had with you. Our lives as we knew it changed forever on 9/23/2014. I didn't expect to hear the words "Courtney passed away" from the doctors that day. I think I'm in a dream but I know that it's reality. I know that you are now pain free and enjoying your glorified body! I also know that you are watching over Mom and I as well as Tim, Alicia, Charlotte and Roland. 

Know that you will be forever in our hearts and not a day will go by that you are not in our thoughts.

It's been many years since the days at South High. Who knew that so many years later you would be grieving the loss of your daughter. I am thinking of you as you celebrate her life. Sincerest condolences.

I just heard of the passing of Courtney and my heart is broken.  I was Courtney's fourth grade teacher at Idlewild Elementary.  Courtney's smile and gentle spirit always made my day!  When I found out,  I looked through my class pictures and there she was on the third row smiling.  She was and is an angel! My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
