Mr. Ewing, 70, of Concord, NC, passed away December 27, 2011 at his residence.
He was born August 5, 1941 in Charlotte, North Carolina, the only child of Arthur Ewing and Irene Mullis Ewing. Mr. Ewing worked as a machinist with Duff Norton Co. for 46 years of service before his retirement.
The family will greet friends 11:00 AM until 12 Noon, Friday, December 30, 2011 at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon. A service to celebrate his life will be held 12 Noon from the graveside of Sharon Memorial Park with The Reverend Dr. Chris Baucom officiating.
Mr. Ewing is survived by his four children: Michael Ewing, Darrell Ewing, Cheryl Warren and her husband, Jack; Darien Ewing and his wife, Teena; six grandchildren: Brian, Amanda and Stacy Warren and Jessica, Michael and Shyann Ewing and one great grandson, Ian Burgess. Mr. Ewing was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Shannon Ewing.
