David Blake Melton

David was born on June 16, 1970. He attended Garinger High School. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 23 years, Victoria Melton, his two boys Charles Melton and John Cantrell of Charlotte, his loving Mother Joeann caudle, and his step-father David Caudle, his younger sister Tiffany Melton Smith, and her three children Tyler Lilly, Ryle Smith and Presley Smith.

Blake was the owner of Sundance Irrigation. He loved all of his customers through the 8 years he owned the company, the many homeowners of the HOA's he took care of for William Douglas Management Company. He loved to be outdoors and had an amazing gift of a Green Thumb. He loved his work.

Blake is preceded in death by his father's Bobby Lee Melton and Bobby Brown both of Charlotte, his brother Justin Brown and his Cherished Grandparents Dick and Libby Byers. He will be desperately missed by all who knew and loved him.

Services will be held at McEwen Funeral Home at 5716 Monroe Road in Charlotte on Wednesday February 19, from 6-8 PM. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Mathews Catholic Church on Rea Road on Thursday February 20, at 11 AM.
