My sincere sympathy to David’s family. I went to public school and day camp with David. Always one of the good guys! Fortunately,  we were reunited on LinkedIn. I just learned of his passing. May his memory always be for a blessing and may he rest in peace. He will be deeply missed.

I was watching something on YouTube and the mentioned the name Waldinger. So? So I googled David's name. I went to JHS 80 and DeWitt Clinton HS with David. I probably haven't seen, or even heard his name mentioned, but I have fond memories of being in classes with David over those teen years. I can remember bumping into his at the local bowling alley and sometimes bowling a few games with him and my friends. I remember him being a much better clarinetist that I was (I was a very uninspired musician). David, while having a serious side, also had a sense of humor. I give my condolences to his family and friends. Thought I haven't thought about him in this near fifty years, it's funny how the Lord, our G-d sometimes drops a name with bittersweet reasons. I am in touch with many friends and classmates from those days, and if no one minds, I'd like to share this with many 'Kids' that also knew David. Again, bless his soul and his family. And if no one minds, the next time I'm in shul, I'd like to say koddesh for him (if someone would share his Hebrew name, it would be even better). I've said too much. Baruch HaShem to all

No words I can say will relieve your pain but please remember that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time and we will see each other again one day thanks to Jesus Christ dying for our sins.
