Born March 18, 1952 in Charlotte, daughter of the late Calvin Dewitt Crump and Raynor Caroline Crump. Debbie attended Garinger High School and then entered the healthcare field as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Wesley Nursing Center. Debbie later continued her career as a Unit Secretary at Aldersgate Senior Living Center in the memory care unit. Debbie cherished the time spent with the residents on her unit.
Debbie was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, where she attended church with her family. Her favorite hobby was bowling, and she bowled in a league for many years. Debbie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Marvin Eugene McCall; three children Angela Baker (Curtis), Alan Smith Jr. (Alisa), and Patricia Smith; grandchildren Courtney, Seth, Christa, Katelyn, Keegan, and Justin; great grandchildren Jayden and Ava; as well as her sister Callie Vanessa Baker.
Debbie was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Kelly and Patricia Jennings.
