Saturday was one the hardest days I have ever experienced in my life. My heart ached for just one more time to see my cousin Diane.  She was always my favorite!  How I looked up to that girl!  The beauty she had not only on the outside but the inside too!  If only we all lived our lives the way she did! To her daughter and son it was wonderful to see how her life reflected on yours.  You both had smiles that would light up a room! I saw so much of her in you both! You all are in our prayers.  Love Sonya

For more than the past 15 years, Diane was not only my hairdresser, but my friend and confidant.  My life is richer for her being in it, and she is and will be greatly missed.  You all continue to be in my heart, thoughts, and prayers during this sad and difficult time.

Diane has done my hair since I was a teenager. I am now 50 years old. She has always been an incredible caring person who knew so many things about me. We shared raising our children together, our dogs together, ups and downs in marriage. She loved my lemon squares and I loved making them for her. She let me borrow lion costumes from her church that she had made for my girls one Christmas play. She did their hair from the time they were first born. She had compassion, concern and loved you enought to give the right advice when you asked her. She was as much a part of my life as anyone I know. I have missed her terribly and I cannot believe she is gone. To her family, she spoke of you always and loved you fiercely. I hope you know that. Jim, she felt so blessed to have found you. I am sorry for the greater saddness with the loss of her dad. My prayers hasve been with you and are with you now.

I have known Diane and been one of her clients for 25 years.  She was always smiling and happy, and I enjoyed so much our monthly "gab" sessions. What a blessing to have known such a beautiful lady! Special Friend,,,To some she was a mother a sister a wife or a child---to me she was till the very end a very Special Friend. 
Though the years and there were many, with times when we seldom spoke,, could suddenly seem like yesterday with a quick call or a "hello" note.
Our friendship took us cross many miles, down roads with twist and turns,
through some good times and down times and shared lessons we had learned.
We laughed at times until we cried, then cried till we laughed again.
I am and will forever be, thankful for my Special Friend.

I knew Diane for 15 years as a friend and stylist and cannot believe she is gone.  My daughter, Desiree, and I will miss her very much.  She was always a fun and thoughtful person.  Her family remains in our thoughts.

It is said that when a child is born we rejoice and the angels weep and when a person dies we weep and the angels rejoice.  Well the Angels are rejoicing today.  Diane is a light for us all in heaven.  Kind, loving, generous, talented, and a boastful mother to Zack and Alexis, and partner who was so in love with Jim. I never tired of listening to her joy in her family, her dog, her politics...the list is endless.  As her client, it was always a treat to go in to get a "cut and color" because she was so much fun to spend time with. I will miss her, but know the angels are rejoicing.  We shall cherish the memories.

One of the hardest things to find when you move to a new place is a really good hairdresser.  When I moved here, my sister recommended Diane (her hairdresser for more than 20 years); I went, and never left. That was 10 years ago. I have laughed at her Zach stories, listened to hear the latest with Alexis, and most recently enjoyed her warm and heartfelt appreciation for her dear Jim.  Diane helped make me "look better," but she did more.  She made me feel better just by being around her.  I will miss her smile and stories, but I know she is with her God and is no longer suffering.

What I love most about Diane was her ability to give the best for everyone around her. Zach and I dated during high school for a little over a year, and it was through him I was fortunate to meet his wonderful mother. Diane always made sure everything was perfect--from the corsage Zach gave me for junior prom, to the day I decided to cut all of my hair off, to the purple scarf she made for me when she was learning to knit--everything she did made me feel beautiful and special. And though adventures took me away from home over the last couple of years, I always returned to Salon J. Marco, my hair grown out and beyond repair, eager to listen to Diane's laughter, stories, and to pick up just where we had left off. I miss her terribly, and feel a part of my family is gone. My thoughts go out to Zach and Alexis, and I will always keep Diane in my memories and my heart.

I was mrs moore cna aide for 3 weeks and I am so glad to have met her. She was a light to me and a good friend. I have many cases but she was something special to me. Diane has been my hairdresser for over 35 years and my friend for all of that time.  She helped me through the death of my husband with many talks and so much caring and love.  Her smile could light up a room and she was such a wonderful person.  My daughter, Meredith and I offer our heartfelt sympathy with your heartbreaking loss.

My husband and I always looked forward to our Saturday morning appointment with Diane. Our daughter and Diane's son Zach were very close in high school and college.  Through Zach, Ashley started having Diane style her hair. I was so impressed the entire family became clients, visiting Diane every 6-8 weeks over 6 years.  She did our daughter's hair for any special occasion and Diane always made sure Ashley's hair was perfect. We enjoyed our visits-we always talked about the children and politics (we shared the same views)-Diane had a wonderful spirit, a wonderful sense of humor, a devout honesty and a beautiful smile. Our entire family is deeply saddened by Diane's passing.  Our prayers and thoughts are with her family. We thank Zach for introducing us to such a wonderful person. I was a client of Diane's for the last few years and so very much enjoyed her skill and her intelligence and humor.  We had similar interests in reading and politics. We shared books and I always looked forward to my appointments to also visit with her.  I have been so saddened by her illness and passing.  She was a bright light in my life and the life of many others.  I am grateful to know that she had close family and friends to comfort her this past year. I miss her.
