Donna Ellen Ballard Wheeler, 68 passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 10, 2017. Donna was a Charlotte native, born November 27 1948 to Roger Earl Ballard Sr. and Grace Moore Ballard. She was a graduate of West Mecklenburg High school. Donna spent all of her career in office management.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne Lee Wheeler of 41 years of marriage and her precious grandson, Tad Allen Daugherty.
Donna leaves behind her son, Don Daugherty and wife Angela; daughter, Donna Williams, and husband Clay; granddaughters, Amber and Tiffany Daugherty; sister, Patty Ballard, brother, Roger Ballard Jr. (Poncho) and wife Denise.
Funeral services will be held at Forest Lawn West in the Paul Helton Chapel on Friday, January 13 at 2 pm. the visitation will begin at 1pm. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn West Cemetery immediately after the funeral. Rev. Rodney Quesenberry is officiating.
