Rev. Douglas Robinson Sr.

He was a resident in Pineville, North Carolina.

He graduated from Lang High School in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. He retired from CSX as a railway conductor. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Pineville, North Carolina.

He was predeceased by his parents, John and Adeline Robinson; sister, Jonnie Mae Robinson and brother-in-law Shelly Jamison. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Mary L. Robinson; daughter, Shaless R. Robinson; sons Douglas Robinson Jr., John B. Robinson, Terrance D. Robinson, Kevin M. Robinson (Heidi), Darrell D. Robinson, and Jeremiah Robinson (Nicole); sisters Alfreda R. Jamison (Shelly), Shirley R. Morris (Jeremiah), and Jennifer Robinson (Everett); brothers John Henry Robinson () and Lloyd Costen (Vanessa); four granddaughters Grace Caroline Robinson, Nora Elizabeth Robinson, McKenzie Robinson, Mya C. Robinson; two grandsons Brandon Michael Robinson and Isaiah Robinson and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, January 24, 2023 in McEwen Funeral Service Pineville Chapel. The family will receive friends for visitation service on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm at the same location.
