Earl Belcher Steele, 84, of Charlotte, NC, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, October 14, 2015. He was born in Swords Creek, VA on June 29, 1931, the son of the late Troy Arnold Steele and Pearl Belcher Steele. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister. He is survived by a sister, Anna Pearl Ratliff, and also by his loving wife of 63 years, Lovelee Whited Steele and their three children, Randy Steele (Rhonda), Michael Steele (Becky), Jeannie Bush (Bill); six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He never met a stranger and always had a smile. He loved his family with all his heart. He attended Paw Creek Presbyterian Church.
A memorial service will be held at Paul Helton Chapel at Forest Lawn West on Sunday, October 18th, 2015, at 2:00PM. The family will receive friends starting at 1:00PM.
