Edward Kruger

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Bridget Anne Kruger, and two children, Michael Kruger and Kelly Kruger, his parents, Mario and Kirsten Kruger and 4 brothers: Reto Kruger and wife Nancy, Henry Kruger and wife Lynn, Paul Kruger and wife Shelley, and James Kruger … as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was also a beloved brother-in-law to all of his wife’s family - The Lee Family.

Ed graduated with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology and spent the greater part of his career working for Celgard, LLC - a division of Poypore International in Charlotte, NC. He was a devoted family man who took great joy in coaching his children Michael and Kelly in baseball and softball at Olde Providence Recreation Association as they were growing up. His family meant the world to him and his love and support never wavered. Many fond memories will be cherished by all who knew him.

Visitation will be Monday, April 24, 2017 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at McEwen Funeral Home, 10500 Park Rd., Charlotte, NC 28210. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 8015 Ballantyne Commons Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28277 on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 1:00 PM.
