Elizabeth "Betty" Ewing Arrowood, 87, of Belmont, NC, formerly of Charlotte, NC went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 with her loving son, Eric Arrowood, by her side. Born March 8, 1938 in Fresno, CA, she was the daughter of the late Edwin Wallace and Margaret Elizabeth (Kincaid) Ewing.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Jeff (Donna) Arrowood and Charles "Eric" (Tammy) Arrowood; grandchildren, Glenda Arrowood and Josh (Leigh) Rash; great-grandchildren, Samantha and Luke Rash.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her son Robert E. Arrowood and her former husband, Jerry Glen Arrowood.
The family would like to give special thanks to the hospice nurse, Ashley.
A visitation for Betty will be held Friday, September 5, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McEwen Funerals & Cremations at Forest Lawn West, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC. A graveside service will occur Saturday, September 6, 2025 in Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, 1508 Charles Raper Jonas Hwy, Mount Holly, NC.
