Ellison M. Teague

Mr. Teague, age 78, of Charlotte, died Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House. Born July 1, 1933 in Union County, he was a son of the late Burt Teague and Willie Griffin Teague. Mr. Teague served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was formerly employed with Ervin Construction Company and was owner of Rock Porch Lounge for many years.

The service to celebrate the Life of Ellison Marion Teague will be held 1:00 PM Friday, September 16, 2011 at McEwen Funeral Service - Derita Chapel with Reverend Ron Greene officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Survivors include three children, Wayne Teague, Teresa Hill and her husband, Myron and Robin White and her husband, Kenny; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Gibson and Margaret Barnes; brothers, Van Teague and Lloyd Teague; and a special nephew, Chris Summitt. In addition to his parents, Mr. Teague was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen Wright Teague in 2008.
