Emma Taborada

Emma was born in Bantayan Island, Cebu City, Philippines on December 5, 1946. She lived in the Philippines for many years and then came to live in Columbia, SC in 2000. She is an American Citizen. Emma’s talents were many; she was an extremely good cook, tender hearted and loving. She had a laugh that you could not forget.

Emma is Preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Francisco Taborada and her son, Jerome Taborada. She is survived by her daughter, Mila and Jimmy Bailey (Holly, NC), and grandchildren Sharramay Ann, Charmie, Charlyn, and great-grandchildren, Elijah, Krisha, and Knox; daughter, Mrs. & Mr. Alaimo (Charlotte, NC); and grandchildren, Maricel, Carolina, and Darin; and great-granddaughters, Anna and Emily; son, Glen and Juanita Taborada (Cebu City, Philippines), and great-grandsons, John and Bun; son, Manuel and Mabie Taborada (Concord, NC), and grandson Carl Justin; daughter, Mona and Lazaro Villarreal (Charlotte, NC).

The burial will be at Elmwood Funeral Home and Cremation Service at 501 Elmwood Ave, Columbia, SC on November 15, 2021 at 1:00 pm.
