She was born to the late Francis and Agnes McGarity on May 23, 1931 in Chester, SC and was married to the late Richard Dean Gibson.
Frankie is survived by her 3 daughters; Cindy Gibson Howell, Doris Gibson Sears and Vicki Gibson Cunningham. She was blessed with nine grandchildren and 3 great grand children. Mrs. Gibson leaves 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
Frankie had been a resident at Carillon Assisted Living in Cramerton, NC for the past 8 years.
All are welcome to attend graveside services at Sharon Memorial Park, in Charlotte, at 11:00am on Tuesday, May 6th.
