

Francis “Frank” Leo Krajewski, Jr. 70, died Wednesday, September 04, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Mobile, AL on May 25, 1943, he was a son of the late Francis Leo Krajewski, Sr. and Elizabeth Black Krajewski. Mr. Krajewski was a Marine veteran who proudly served his country in Vietnam. He worked in the automotive industry for over thirty years and retired from Dick Keffer Pontiac. Mr. Krajewski was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, a former member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, NFL football, watching his grandson play sports and his granddaughters dance and was a major Tar Heel fan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM, Friday, September 6th at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 1400 Suther Rd., with Father Christopher Riehl, celebrant. Interment will follow in Charlotte Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00PM to 9:00PM Thursday evening.
Mr. Krajewski is survived by his wife of forty nine years, Pat Snider Krajewski; a son, Frank Krajewski and wife Jackie, of Matthews; a daughter, Missy Wright and husband, Jim, of Matthews; five grandchildren, Emily, Elizabeth, Kate, Joseph, Sarah and his dog, Blackie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department Benevolent Fund, 601 East Trade Street, Charlotte, NC 28202.
