Frank Leslie Morecock

He enlisted in 1943 in the U.S. Navy and was trained as a Naval Aviator, flying the Corsair. At the time of Mr. Morecock’s discharge, he held the rank of LT-JG on the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt. After WWII he was active in the Army reserves.

Mr. Morecock attended Milligan College and Georgia Tech, where he me this beloved wife Beverly, whom he married in 1951. He was quite successful as a Manufacturers Agent in the houseware’s industry.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Collins Morecock, and his daughters, Leslie and Elizabeth Morecock. Survivors include his sons, Frank C. Morecock of Charlotte, and James L. Morecock of Rock Hill, SC. Also surviving are four grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at St. Ann Catholic Church with Reverend Richard Hansen, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10 until 10:45 am at the church, prior to the funeral mass.
