

Born May 16, 1945 in Charlotte, he was the son of the late Dallas Pressley and Margaret Pressley. Following graduation from Harding High School, Frank joined the Charlotte Fire Department. His career spanned more than 25 years. In addition to the Charlotte Fire Department, he also owned a successful custom woodworking and retail store. Woodshed Products was based in Mint Hill, NC. This business venture showcased his unique talent in custom furniture. He ended his career path working at Concrete Supply in Indian Trail, NC.
Frank was a devoted Christian and loved going to church. He served in many capacities. One of his most profound acts of faith was when he traveled across the seas to Indonesia. He helped rebuild wells for the community after the tsunami of 2004.
He was an avid hunter and boatman. He loved spending many hours at his hunt club in South Carolina. He loved spending time there with his grandchildren Alec, Hannah and Emma and his many friends.
He is survived by his two children, Nicole Forbis of Pineville, NC, and Scott Pressley; five grandchildren, Jason Pressley, Alec Forbis, David Pressley, Hannah Forbis and Emma Thorp; and six great grandchildren; as well as his sister, Phyllis Helms of New Salem, NC.
Frank's family will receive friends from 11:30 am till 1:00 pm. Saturday, June 27th at McEwen Funeral Service - Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road. A service will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens in Mint Hill.
