Glenda "Susie" Blanton

Susie shared a remarkable life with her beloved husband of 60 years, James “Ronnie” Blanton. Together, they built a loving family that includes their children: Mike Blanton (wife Jan), Tony Blanton, Kenneth “Bubba” Blanton, and Kimberly Blackwelder. She was a proud grandmother to Bryan Blanton, Justin Blanton, Aaliyah Blanton, Madison Blackwelder, and Ayden Brock. Her legacy

continues through her great-grandchildren Raven Hartsell and Colton Blanton. Susie also held a special bond with her niece Shelby Hobbs (husband Justin) and their daughters Emmalyn and

Amelia Hobbs.

Throughout her life, Susie found immense joy in supporting her family. She cherished watching her children and grandchildren compete in various sports over the years. Her love for them was

unwavering and evident in every aspect of her life. Susie also enjoyed the simple pleasures of daily life, including watching her favorite game shows—*Jeopardy*, *Wheel of Fortune*, and *The Price Is Right*.

Susie’s warmth extended beyond her family to dear friends like Carolyn Caldwell, whose companionship she treasured deeply. Known for her kind heart and devotion to those she loved, Susie touched the lives of many and will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
