Gordon "Rusty" Wise

Rusty was born on December 28th, 1949 in Charlotte, to the late Eula Belle Martin

Wise and Gordon R. Wise, Sr. He was an Army veteran, salesman, office manager,

graduate of Garinger High School, and graduate of Central Piedmont Community

College with an Associate Degree in Business Administration.

He was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, loving husband, great dad, granddad,

uncle, and friend to all he met.

Rusty was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Jean Wise, infant son, and

brother, Daniel LeRoy Wise. He is survived by his wife, Carol Miller Wise, brother,

Jimmy (Barbara) Hill, sister, Judy (Dave) Pernie, and his children: Carmen (Richard)

Williams, Kelly Wise, and Brian (Carol) Miller, grandchildren: Quinton Jonathan Miller,

Anna Katherine Miller, baby girl soon to arrive, and several nephews and nieces.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Novant Hospice and their excellent

staff for their love and care of Rusty.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 17th, 11am at McEwen Funeral

Service - Pineville Chapel with visitation held one hour prior to service. Burial to

follow in Williams Memorial Presbyterian Church cemetery.
