Lupe was born June 10, 1945 in Mexico. He was the son of Martin Guevara and Felicitas Rodriguez.
Lupe Immigrated to the US at the young age of 9 where he worked and helped his mother care for his younger siblings.
He met and married his wife, Tomasa, at the age of 25. Together, they had 6 children and raised them in Yuba City CA. He worked at Sierra Gold Nurseries for approximately 40 yrs. Lupe loved the outdoors; and, was a very social and outgoing man. His favorite hobby was fishing. He is preceded in death by his wife Tomasa Guevara, daughter Corina Guevara, and brother Rufino.
