Harper John Ferguson Jr.

Harper John Ferguson Jr., 68, of Charlotte, suffered from Parkinson’s and multiple myleomas which his heart succumbed too and he passed away on November 10, 2016. John was born in Columbus, OH on May 19, 1948 to Harper John Ferguson Sr. and Gracie Mae Watts. He served 4 years in the US Air Force & 36 years in the Air National Guard. John worked Seimens Westinghouse for 38 years. He is survived by his wife, Pamela H. Ferguson; son, Michael Ray Ferguson (Melissa Dawn); daughters, Wendi Shea Ferguson (Don Berryhill) & Melissa Joy Ferguson (Nate Perkins); grandchildren, Kara Michelle Thrasher, Zachary Kyle Ferguson, Taylor Ferguson Randell (Chris), Destin Huggins, Kaleb Marcus Thrasher, Tucker Ferguson Thrasher & Ziva Nicole Perkins. Visitation for Mr. Ferguson will be from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm Monday, November 14, 2016 at Mulberry Baptist Church, 6450 Tuckaseegee Rd Charlotte, NC 28214, with a funeral service immediately following. Interment will be at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, 4601 Freedom Dr. Charlotte, NC 28208. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate that memorials be made to Parkinson Association of the Carolinas, 1515 Mocking Bird Lane, #1055, Charlotte, NC 28209.
