Helen Isbill Talbott

Born in Maryville, TN on December 29, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Lora Isbill.

Helen was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church where she was active with the church choir, Girls Auxiliary and VBS.

Her husband of 62 years, Bennett M. Talbott, preceded her in death on March 19, 2011.

Survivors include three daughters, Conchita T. Shelton of Harrisburg, NC, Angela T. Allen and husband, Kim of Davidson, NC and Beverly T. Lawhon and husband, Kevin of Ft. Mill, SC; a son, Bennett C. Talbott of Mint Hill, NC; three grandchildren, Jamey I. Shelton, Kelly C. Allen and Logan R. Talbott; a sister, Norma Sue Tyler and husband, Tim of Morristown, TN and a brother, Earl Isbill and wife, Marilyn of Maryville, TN.

Also preceding her in death was a son-in-law, Robert L. Smith.

Funeral services are planned for 11:00 am Monday, December1, 2014 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 6050 Hickory Grove Rd., Charlotte, NC with Rev.John Harrill officiating. Friends may visit from 10 to 11 am Monday at the church. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
