Hoa Thi Nguyen

At 2:10am, on May 23rd, 2022. Hoa Thi Nguyen passed away peacefully at age 92 after a brief illness in Charlotte, North Carolina. Hoa Thi Nguyen was the biological mother of ten children with 30 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. However, many people considered Hoa Thi Nguyen their surrogate mother. Now 4 of her children are still living in Viet Nam, include: Thanh Minh Ha, Thanh Vinh Ha, Dong Vinh Ha, Thuy Hang Thi Ha. And 6 left are living in the United State. Include: Huong Thi Ha, Hai Phuc Ha, Yen Hong Ha, Loan Mai Ha, Nam Dai Ha, Hoach Quy Ha. Her daughters & Sons in law, include: Long Van Nguyen, Dung My Dang, Khanh Nhat Vuong, Phuong Van Nguyen, Hong Ly Thi Vo, Quang Dinh Ha, Hung Quoc Ngo, Binh Thanh Truong, Chi Diem Thi Tran and Chau Minh Trinh.

Hoa Thi Nguyen was born in Le Thuy District, Quang Binh Province Vietnam on Feb 06th, 1930. Her father is Thiu Cao Nguyen, and her mom is Coi Thi Dang (Both passed away). In 1954 She was married with An Viet Ha (passed away), after that they both went to South Vietnam to flee away from the communist government. After she came and lived many years in South Vietnam to find their job, her husband joined and worked with the government of the Republic of Vietnam. In 1962 they brought 3 children together to live and work in Duc Lap District, Quang Duc Province, Vietnam. After April 30th, 1975 the communist government from North Vietnam took over south Vietnam and they sent her husband to prison for 6 years. In1995, one more time her husband and she with 4 younger children had to move to the United State to flee away from the communist government to settle down by Orderly Departure Program of the United States.

Visitation will be held at Wilson Funeral & Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Rd, Charlotte NC 28212 on Wednesday March 25th from 6pm to 9pm (Prayer Service at 7pm).

A funeral Mass is scheduled for Mrs. Hoa Thi Nguyen at 11am on May 26th, 2022 at St John Neumann Catholic Church. 8451 Idlewild Rd, Charlotte, NC 28227
