

Heidi Clark, born on October 6, 1934, in Los Angeles, CA, to the late Wylie Hendricks and Luethel Grove. A devoted member of the Catholic Church, Heidi was a cherished member of St. Ann Parish in Charlotte, NC. Her deep faith and commitment to bringing others closer to Jesus and His Blessed Mother were evident in her lifelong dedication to studying the Bible and her active participation in the Legion of Mary apostolate, where she faithfully prayed the Holy Rosary every day.
After a long and fulfilling career with the Department of Defense, Heidi continued to dedicate her time to exploring, teaching, and learning about religion, music, culture, and the arts. Her profound love for her Church and her unwavering faith left an enduring legacy in the hearts and minds of all who knew her.
Heidi is survived by her beloved son, Richard McCowen, of Bremen, Germany. She will be fondly remembered for her deep devotion, her love for her faith, and the lasting impact she made on her community.
Family and friends are invited to honor Heidi Clark’s memory during visitation and the praying of the rosary on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at St Ann Catholic Church in Charlotte.
A funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 p.m. at St Ann with Rev. Brandon Jones, officiating.
A committal will occur at 1:30 PM at McEwen Funeral Cemetery at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC.
