Iris Vega Rivera of Charlotte, NC passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Atrium Health University City in Charlotte. She was born on December 6, 1941.
She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, Gilberto Rivera; two daughters, Desiree Rivera, and Darleen Allen, and her husband Thomas; six grandchildren, Hector J. Navedo and his wife Joi Navedo, Stella Navedo, and her husband Von Ford, Anthony Ortiz, Emmanuel Ortiz, Paula Ramos, Carlos Ortiz, and his wife Leslie Ortiz; and twelve great-grandchildren, as well as a host of friends and relatives.
The family will be receiving visitors at the home. A private service with family and friends will follow at a later date.
