

Isaac Elias Rodriguez, was the son of Julian and Lissette Rodriguez. He was born on August 2, 1989 in Monterey Park, CA, he moved to North Carolina in 1996. Isaac died at the age of 21, on Saturday, July 23, 2011.
Isaac enjoyed so many things, he loved sports, cooking, eating, playing video games, going to the movies, snowboarding and spending time with family and friends. He had a wonderful childhood and loved to travel. Family vacations took him many places and he was fortunate to see Mazatlan, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Aruba, St. Thomas, Dominica, St. Martine, Bahamas, California, Texas, Colorado, Florida, New York and so many others places. He had dreams of going to barber school and opening his own shop called “All Textures Barber Shop”, because he said he could never find a barber to cut his hair like he wanted.
Isaac’s favorite animal was a cheetah because they could run very fast and said he was like a cheetah because he was fast. His favorite baseball team was the LA Dodgers and his favorite football team was the SF 49rs, also liked the LA Lakers. He will be remembered for having a kind heart and for trying to see good in everybody as he never saw the bad in people. He was very forgiving and would never hold a grudge. Isaac had so many great qualities that we all can learn from.
His greatest excitement in life was, that he was about to become a father.
In addition to his parents, Isaac is survived by his only sister, Julie-Anna Simmons (Jonathan); a nephew Malachi Simmons, his fiancée Adele Reitzel and their unborn child, his grandfather Julio A. Rodriguez, his grandmothers Minerva Rodriguez and Esther A. Rodriguez, his great grandmother Vidalina Maldonado. Along with many aunts, uncles, and a host of cousins and so many… friends, his memory will not be forgotten.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, July 30th at the McEwen Funeral Service, 6300 Mallard Creek Road. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
