

Jacqueline A. “Jackie” Camp, 83, of Charlotte, beloved sister to the late Celia Scher, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at her home. She was born June 27, 1929 in Charlotte, daughter of the late Herbert Camp and Ruby Davenport Camp.
Jackie was a Charter Member of the Moose Lodge in Charlotte and loved playing Bingo. She served her country with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving sister, Celia Scher. Jackie is survived by her nephews, Steward Scher of Texarcana, TX, Lloyd Scher of Charlotte, Carl Scher and wife Connie of Huntersville, and Louis Scher and wife Dottie of Gastonia, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
A funeral service will be held from the graveside at Hebrew Cemetery in Charlotte at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 18, 2012, with Rabbi Murray Ezring officiating.
