After a long-fought battle with cancer, he turned his pain over to the Lord and is now resting peacefully. His wife, daughter, and grandchildren were able to be with him just before he passed.
Born May 22, 1942, in Farmville, VA, he was the son of the late Curtis and Frances Craft. He served as an Army Reservist and was an executive at Crawford Manufacturing in Richmond, VA. When their first grandchild was born, Jim and Linda relocated to Fort Mill, SC to be closer to their daughter and grandson.
Jim is survived by his wife, Linda Pinner Craft; daughter, Amy Hodgin; son-in-law, Todd Hodgin; grandchildren, Alec and Brooke Hodgin; and his grand-dog, Sadie. His great loves were his family, the Washington Commanders (Redskins), and fishing.
A service to celebrate Jim’s life will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Twiford’s Funeral Home, 500 Budleigh Street, Manteo, NC 27954.
