James Elvin Foxworth, 57, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at CMC-University. Mr. Foxworth was born on in Charlotte on April 2, 1955 to Charles Edwin Foxworth and Dorothy Black Foxworth. He was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church and a former member of Back Creek Presbyterian Church. Mr. Foxworth was a collector of many things and enjoyed music, fishing, hunting and playing the guitar.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, July 27th in the cemetery of Back Creek Presbyterian Church, 1821 Back Creek Church Road, with Rev. Mark Denning officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 2:00PM in the church prior to the graveside committal.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Foxworth is survived by a sister, Trina F. Story and her husband, Greg, of Monroe; a niece, Amy Hance and husband John, of Wingate and two nieces and one nephew.
