Mr. Schronce, age 74 of Matthews, a loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away Friday January 6, 2012 At CMC Main. He was born on January 28, 1937 in Mount Holly, NC son of the late Osborne and Elizabeth Frady Schronce, a veteran of the U. S. Army, member of the American Legion and was a master brick mason all of his working life. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. Monday January 9, 2012 at McEwen Funeral Service 5716 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC 28212 with a service to follow at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel conducted by the Reverend Doctor Tim Moore. Entombment will follow at Sharon Memorial Mausoleum. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Nell Porter Schronce, son Gregory Scott Schronce of Charlotte, daughters, Scarlette Schronce Weaver and husband Benjamin of Charlotte, Debra Schronce Kitler and husband Rick of Jacksonville, FL, sister, Linda Schronce Mauldin and the “pride and joy of his life” his grandchildren, Gabriel Porter Weaver and Lucas James Weaver.
