Janet was born in Charlotte and lived here most of her life. Her favorite years were spent on Oak Island and in Southport, NC. Janet had an associate degree in Medical Records. She worked in CMC's Charlotte Rehabilitation Hospital as a Medical Records coder.
Janet was easy to love. She was intelligent, friendly and funny. Sarcasm was her second language. She shamelessly shared her life experiences and adventures to get others to laugh. She was both a best friend and best sister.
She is survived by her sister, Joyce Martin, who will miss her everyday. She is also survived by her kind and gently sister-in-law, Pam Martin and her loving niece, Molly French. Instead of a service, her ashes will be taken her favorite place Oak Island, NC and placed there at a later date.
