A World War II Veteran serving in the European Theatre until 1946, he received a BS from Ohio University and a Masters Degree in Education from John Carroll University. Jason was a high school history teacher in the Cleveland School System until his retirement to Sarasota, Florida in 1989.
Jason is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marlene Spanner Goodman; son, Scott Goodman (Rebecca); daughter, Michele Innenberg; and four grandchildren, Joshua Goodman (Jori), Jeremy Goodman, Brian Innenberg and Kari Innenberg.
A quiet and caring man who led by example and will be missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
