She was born in Union County to the late James and Dalena Snyder. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, William H. (Bill) Evans, brothers Jasper Snyder, Edward Snyder and sister Cornelia Berry.
Survivors left to cherish her memory are son Larry William Evans (Cindy) of Charlotte, daughter Sandra Evans Stiles (Kevin) of Charlotte, granddaughter Frankie Stiles Hanna (Jonathan) of Connecticut, step grandson Adam Stiles, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was the essence of His loving-kindness, with every word and action, finding good in everyone she ever met. Her faith was of upmost importance, and she often said, “we all have so much to be thankful for.” Jeanette loved her church family and taught Sunday School for many years. She also loved the outdoors and was an avid gardener.
Funeral services will be held February 5, 2019 at Flint Hill Baptist Church, Fort Mill, SC at 1 pm with visitation to begin at 12 pm. Burial will be held at Sharon Memorial Park, Charlotte NC, following her funeral.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Flint Hill Baptist Church, 269 Flint Hill Road, Fort Mill, SC 29715.
