Jeromy Dekota Perry, my 3rd born son, my best friend, my baby boy. 
It's been a whole year since i heard you say, da, you busy? I miss you so much, I never knew anything could hurt so bad. It still seems so surreal, I look for you daily, I pull up and look for your car in it's usual spot but it's not there, I miss you so much. Jeromy, if I had any idea you were as sick as you were things might have turned out different. It just doesn't seem fair that a person as loving, and as self giving as you had to be alone in your last moments, I would  give anything to trade places with you. Jeromy I know now how confused, afraid, and panicked you must have been not knowing what was wrong, I am so sorry I didn't  see thru your beautiful smile your last night on this side. Even in your last moments you were thinking of someone other than yourself, I know you didn't want me to worry or panic, but that's just how you were, always thinking of someone else. talking to your friends, I found out you were really loved and thought highly of by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting you. Jeromy, life will never bee the same without you around, I will continue to look for you every day for the rest of my life. your mother and I dedicated a tree in your honor, and placed a plaque that I feel is very befitting of your legacy it reads: Wherever a beautiful soul has been, a trail of beautiful memories remain.. I MISS YOU SO MUCH. Hold a spot for me and rest well, till I see you again on the other side. Oh yea, your brothers and I all got DRAGON BALL tattoos in your honor. LOVE YOU ALWAYS. Ms. Shobrekia Clayton, your most recent message was quite lovely. I was so touched and inspired. Thank you "Sweetie" for your kind and loving words. You were very special to Jeromy also, as I could see it in his eyes when he told me that he wanted us to meet you.
It's been almost 10 months now and Jeromy's loss is still very very hard on me. Sometimes I think more so for Jerome, though. I do however, pray God's daily grace upon us. 
I miss my "Jeroboo" so so.....much. Ohhh!...... how I miss and love you baby, "my precious boy so kind, compasionate and caring".  As, we've  had discussion with family and friends, read your phone text, emails, and other messages left behind, you said, I can't breath several times. We are truly convinced that you had plans and were not ready to leave this world by taking your own life, but that you must have contracted that horrible (Covic-19)   coronavirus.  
That, " Devil of a president" Donald Trump was informed about it in January, but deliberately and willfully neglected to warn (us) the American people, that this monstrous virus was already here in the U.S. 
Along with you many people are dead today that might still  be alive had we known about the spread and attacks of the virus from the beginning. For this "Trump" we hold you responsible, with our son's blood and the blood of so many other Americans on your hands. 
If we had known about this deadly virus in January, I would have come with your Dad when he brought you the Vicks that night before you died. We would have known you had the symptoms, and I would have forced you to go to the hospital.  Baby, I can't imagine how scary this must have been for you, not knowing what was happening to you. It had to be so horrific and   devestating for you when you could not breath. "I know baby".....you panicked and ended it all. No more suffering. 

Who knew that you were in the start of so many others that have died since, because "they too could not breath".

The last words you said to me were “I love you babe, you’re the best.”  The time we spent together was absolutely amazing. There was never a dull moment.  I remember the first time we embraced, neither one of us could let go.  A five second hug turned into an hour of us standing in one spot holding each other as  
my head laid against your chest. The peace that I felt in your presence was unforgettable and indescribable. You made me smile and healed a lot of my pain with your touch.  Your smile not only brightened my day but it added joy to my life. I could always expect a good morning text and a call to follow each morning. After work, we would meet up for dinner or just enjoy each other’s company.  I remember coming over after work one day and walking up the stairs and you were in the shower jammin to Return of the Mack.   I couldn’t wait for weekends because we would spend time together with  all 4 of the kiddos watching movies, playing the game, going out ect.  The last Sunday and Monday that your spent on this earth, you spent taking care of me because I was sick.  You drove  from Charlotte to Gastonia both days. You truly cared for me so much so that you called out work on Monday to take care of me.  I will never forget the day that you told me that you were going to introduce me to your parents, I was so nervous but I was elated because you thought enough of me to take me to meet them.   There is no way that I could ever forget you. The pain from losing you will never heal.  I miss you everyday.  I will always love you.  

Jeromy I miss you so much best fren its unreal. This was mu first birthday without out you in god knows how long. I miss u I miss u I miss you.  .!!!

Jeromy, the boys and I truly miss you. I wish I could bring you back. I wish I could call you or text you when I had news to share. I wish the boys could have fun with you or even just hear your voice. It's really hard thinking about you not being here. Our unit of four has lost a vital part. I am, however, grateful for all of the memories we were able to create throughout the 20 years we knew each other. Most of them I spent either talking to you everyday or seeing you everyday. We used to joke about how we had a crazy or funny story for any topic. I have all our memories to hold on to to remember you and to share with our boys. We love you Jeromy! Watch over us and protect our unit.

Jeromy I remember you coming over to my house in hanging out with me almost every weekend. You was one of my favorite cousins and I still cant believe you are gone. I think about you everyday. You will be truly missed. Till we met again cousin, I love you!

To my loving  brother-in-law   (Jerome) , adorable  sister (Jackie), and second sons Jay and Jamar.  My heart is hurting too.  I am so lost for words.  There is one  saying that  Jeromy  would not  let me forget. ( Not tonight Jerm) To understand this saying , you had to  go back about 25 years ago.   I practically raised those boys. They always want to spend the night at my house and my children  wanted to spend the  night at there house . Don't get me wrong, they had there  share of sleep  overs. Sometimes when Jeromy would ask, I would say not tonight Jerm.  About a few months ago at my birthday party,  33 year old  Jeromy brought it up again.  After I said  Jerm  . You and Quan (cousin) worried me so much , y'all  were bad.  He just gave me  that half grin  on his face and walked away.   Those words now are music to my ears. I would do anything to here those words again.  Rest in  peace Jerm.  You will always  hold a place in my heart.
