.Jo Ann Elliott McCallum age 73 of the Oakdale Community passed away November 22, AT Carolinas Medical Center. A celebration of life will be at 3:00PM Sunday November 27th in the Family Life Center of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Reverend Billy Towery officiating. Visitation will follow the service in the Family Life Center.
Mrs. McCallum was born in Charlotte December 12, 1937 daughter of the late Homer Henderson and Sadie Drake Elliott. She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Double Ring Sunday School Class, was former the children’s co-ordinator and retired from Eastern Airlines.
Surviving are her husband of 48 years, David McCallum, son, Jeffry McCallum, sister, Julia Faulkner all of Charlotte, and a brother, Ronnie Elliott (Aurie) of Charlotte.
