John Wilson Hines Clark

He leaves behind his mother, Elizabeth C. Clark; his sister, Lucy Clark Scandrett (Dr. John F. Scandrett); and his niece, Lara Scandrett, as well as family and friends. His father, John Ernest Wilson Clark, preceded him in death.

A 1969 graduate of Myers Park High School and 1973 graduate of Furman University, Chip enjoyed playing football, singing in the choir and playing his trumpet. He worked for the Ford Motor Company and Wal-Mart.

A public visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. followed by a service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Harry & Bryant Co., 500 Providence Road. Entombment will be private.
