We love you grandpa and miss you so much.

I will miss you so much for your wit and intelligence.  You were an inspiration for your dedication to the service of your country and all people in the world who were suffering during war.  You are and will always remain a true hero in every sense.  Your lifetime is a testament to loving our great country.  You survived more in one lifetime and saved countless lives because of your courageous actions. As my sister said, you did all this with humility and strength.  Thank you for being there for my dad when our mother died.  Your loving relationship with Dad is a beautiful example of how siblings should support each other.  God bless you and may you finally find peace in heaven.

Dearest Uncle John, 
Know that your presence in this world will be deeply missed, not only by your loving family, but also by the countless lives you touched, for whom you fought and whom you protected by your courageous work throughout your career.  Your HEROIC work was done always quietly and with the greatest humility.  Even those closest to you had little idea that the work you were doing - always under the most dangerous conditions - truly changed the course of the world, protected our great nation, and saved many lives.  Your love of justice and freedom remained constant throughout your distinguished career, along with an unswavering loyalty to the nation you served, and always, always a desire to help those who were suffering under the yoke of tyranny and oppression.  God Bless Father John Giuliani, who ministered to you in your final days, and with whom you shared a special friendship he will always cherish.  You have been an example of God's grace and forgiveness - May He hold you always very close to His Most Sacred Heart.  I hope that you are hugging your precious Carleen, and playing fetch with your beloved Enu!

ps:  Thank you again for saving our first pet, our cat, "Poochie"! As little children, we would have been devastated - thank you for stepping in and convincing our parents to spare her. Your love of animals, of all God's creatures, was a mirror to your soul.
