Pepe is survived by his parents; Jaime Sr. & Gladys Garcia of the home; brothers, Jaime (MaryAnne), John (Karina) and Andrew (Diana) of Rosemond; nieces and nephews, Adriana, Mia, Adelyn, and Joaquin; as well as a large extended loving family of aunts, uncles and cousins that live in Charlotte, New Jersey, and Ecuador. He loved nieces and nephew so much.
Pepe was born on December 14, 1980 in Charlotte, NC. He was a graduate of Myers Park High School. He loved to travel and could never stay put in one place. He worked for various airlines which allowed him to achieve a life goal of traveling to Europe. A follower of stand up comedy, Pepe’s humor was always spot on, even at the most inappropriate times; he could always crack a smile. Pepe was a smart, fun loving guy that could light up a room with his infectious laugh and humor. He was the life of the party. He was a very generous and helpful human. He would go to all extremes to help out others.
Pepe went above and beyond for his community. Every holiday season, Pepe would go with his cousin’s to deliver a home cooked meal to the homeless in Charlotte. In April 2016, Pepe raised awareness and money to send to the affected families in Ecuador due to the disaster of the earthquake.
A Mass will be held 11:00am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church 6828 Old Reid Rd. McEwen Funeral Home is serving the Garcia family.
