Jose Manuel Ybarra

Born January 9, 1923 in Matanzas, Cuba, Mr. Ybarra was a son of the late Mr. Jose Ybarra and Genoveva del Valle. Jose is remembered for his happy demeanor and generosity, as well as a good son, husband, uncle and friend.

Jose was the owner of La Elegante, a beautiful store he inherited from his father.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Martha Azcuy Ybarra; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

A Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 5th in the chapel of Harry & Bryant Company with visitation following until 8:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 6th at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 4207 Shamrock Drive. Interment will follow in Charlotte Memorial Gardens.
