Joseph Craig Jr.

Born on December 8, 1955 in Libertyville, IL to Joseph and Addie Holden Craig, Joe was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend.

He cherished his time at the beach with his family and loved to fish off the pier with his sons and friends. He appreciated the time spent grilling out with his family. Joe treasured spending time in the mountains and walking around the shops with his wife, Diane. He spent memorable times going shopping with his daughter, Angie.

Joe was a man who respected his beloved dogs, loved to joke around and kept everyone laughing when gathered together. He had a heart of gold and always saw the bright side of any bad situation.

Left to mourn his loss are his wife Diane; children Angie Craig, Buddy Craig, Michael Craig, Shawn Freeman and Samantha Steel; stepson Terry Hudson and Tonya McCoy. He also leaves grandchildren Amaru, Aubree and Austin Freeman, Samiya Steele, Matthew Craig and TJ Hudson and Caleb Hudson.

The family will gather for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 1-3pm at McEwen Funeral Service located at 5716 Monroe Road in Charlotte, NC.
